Tracking and Advertising
App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
Built uses third-party advertising and attribution services to measure the performance of our marketing campaigns. Before any tracking occurs, iOS will display a system prompt asking for your permission.
What "tracking" means: When you grant tracking permission, we share certain data (such as your device's advertising identifier and conversion events like app install, registration, or subscription purchase) with our advertising partners so they can measure whether their ads led to installs or subscriptions.
If you allow tracking:
- Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) is shared with our attribution partners
- Conversion events (install, registration, trial start, purchase) are reported to advertising platforms
- This data helps measure ad campaign effectiveness
If you deny tracking:
- No advertising identifier is collected or shared
- No conversion events are sent to advertising platforms
- App functionality is not affected in any way
- You can still use all features, including premium features
Changing your choice: You can change your tracking preference at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
