Premium Subscription Help
Starting Your Free Trial
How to start your 7-day free trial:
- Tap on any premium feature (marked with a lock icon or crown)
- Review the premium features and pricing
- Tap "Start Free Trial"
- Confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password
- Enjoy full access to all premium features for 7 days
Note: You won't be charged during the trial period. Cancel anytime before the trial ends to avoid charges.
Managing Your Subscription
To manage or cancel your subscription:
- Open iOS Settings on your device
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap "Subscriptions"
- Find "Built Premium" in the list
- Tap to view details, cancel, or modify
Note: Cancelling stops future charges but you keep premium access until the end of your billing period.

Subscription Billing
Understanding your subscription:
- Pricing Options:
- Annual: $59.99 per year (USD) - includes 7-day free trial
- Monthly: $9.99 per month (USD) - no trial
- Free Trial: 7 days for annual subscription (new subscribers only)
- Billing: Charged to your Apple ID account
- Auto-Renewal: Automatically renews each period unless cancelled
- Cancellation: Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid next charge
Requesting a Refund
If you need a refund:
- Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find your Built Premium subscription
- Select "Report a Problem"
- Choose your reason and submit
Note: Refunds are handled by Apple and subject to their policies. We cannot process refunds directly.
Premium Not Working
If premium features aren't accessible:
- Check Subscription: Verify your subscription is active in iOS Settings
- Restart App: Close and reopen Built completely
- Check Internet: Premium verification requires internet connection
- Sign Out/In: Try signing out and back into your Built account
- Update App: Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store
- Contact Us: If issues persist, email us with your Apple ID email
Account Support
Account Issues
Having trouble with your account? Email us at builtfitnessapp@gmail.com with your registered email address and describe the issue.
Common account problems:
- Can't sign in: Try password reset or check email verification
- Wrong display name: Update in Profile > Edit Profile
- Missing workouts: Check your internet connection and refresh
- Sync issues: Try signing out and back in
Profile Management
To update your profile:
- Go to Profile tab
- Tap "Edit Profile"
- Update your display name, username, bio, or avatar
- Tap "Save"
Your profile information is visible to other users in the community.
Data Export
Want to export your workout history? Email us at builtfitnessapp@gmail.com and we'll help you get your data in a usable format.
Delete Account
You can delete your account anytime through the app:
- Go to Profile
- Scroll down to Settings
- Tap Delete Account
- Follow the confirmation steps
Note: This permanently deletes all your workout data, posts, and social interactions. This cannot be undone. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it separately in iOS Settings.
Social Features Support
Creating Your Profile
Setting up your fitness profile:
- Go to Profile tab
- Tap "Edit Profile" to customize your information
- Add a display name, username, bio, and profile picture
- Choose your privacy settings for posts
- Save your changes
Sharing Workout Posts
How to share your workouts:
- After Workout: Choose "Share Workout" when completing a session
- Add Photos: Upload progress pictures or gym photos (keep them appropriate)
- Write Caption: Describe your workout, achievements, or insights
- Privacy Setting: Choose public (visible to all) or private (just for you)
- Post: Share with the community and get support from others
Following and Social Interactions
Building your fitness community:
- Find Users: Search for friends or discover new fitness enthusiasts
- Follow: Follow users to see their workout posts in your social feed
- Engage: Like and comment on posts to support others
- Followers: See who follows you and engage with your community
Content Reporting
If you see inappropriate content:
- Tap the three dots on any post
- Select "Report Post"
- Choose the reason for reporting
- Add additional details if needed
- Submit the report for review
Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours.
AI Coach Support
Getting AI Recommendations (Premium)
How AI coaching works:
- Data Analysis: AI analyzes your workout history and progress
- Personalized Tips: Receive suggestions based on your goals and performance
- Progress Insights: Get detailed analysis of your strength development
- Recovery Guidance: AI monitors your workout intensity and suggests rest periods
- Adaptation: Recommendations improve as you provide feedback
Note: AI Coach features require an active premium subscription.
AI Coach Not Working
If AI features aren't functioning:
- Check Premium: Verify you have an active premium subscription
- Log More Workouts: AI needs at least 3-5 workouts to generate good recommendations
- Check Internet: AI features require internet connection
- Update App: Ensure you have the latest version with AI improvements
- Provide Feedback: Rate AI suggestions to help improve accuracy
- Contact Support: Email us if AI consistently provides poor recommendations
AI Coach Limitations
Important reminders about AI coaching:
- Not Medical Advice: AI recommendations are for general fitness guidance only
- Individual Variation: Results and recommendations may not work for everyone
- Professional Guidance: Consult fitness professionals for serious training goals
- Safety First: Always prioritize proper form and injury prevention
- Feedback Matters: Help improve AI by rating recommendations and reporting issues
Workout Support
Sync Issues
If your workouts aren't syncing properly:
- Check your internet connection
- Try closing and reopening the app
- Make sure you're signed in to the same account
- Wait a few seconds for data to sync
- Contact us if the problem persists
Exercise Questions
Need help with exercises or workout planning? Our AI Coach (premium feature) can help with personalized recommendations, or email us for specific guidance.
Premium AI Coach features:
- Personalized workout suggestions based on your history
- Exercise form tips and alternatives
- Progress tracking and insights
- Recovery-based workout planning
Anatomy-Based Exercise Picker (Premium)
How to use the anatomy picker:
- During a workout, tap "Add Exercise"
- Switch to the "Anatomy" tab
- Tap on any muscle group on the 3D model
- View exercises that target that muscle
- Select an exercise to add to your workout
Note: This feature requires an active premium subscription.
Troubleshooting
App Crashes or Freezes
Quick fixes:
- Force close the app and reopen it
- Restart your device
- Update to the latest app version
- Free up device storage space
- Check for iOS updates
If problems persist, email us with your device model and iOS version.
Connection Issues
If features aren't working:
- Check your internet connection (WiFi or cellular)
- Try switching between WiFi and cellular data
- Ensure Built has network permissions in iOS Settings
- Wait a few minutes and try again
